Hi, everyone! Just thought I'd update my dA page with a new ID pic. Say hello to my new avatar, Myri Freezefire! ^^ I just doodled her one day and thought it would be fun to put her in my deviantID. I'll work on getting a full-size pic and a profile of her later along with any other projects I have (including the rest of my snow festival snapshots and some additional cherry blossom hanami photos). I was originally planning on using a pic of Myri typing at a laptop for my ID, but I ended up finishing the piano version first, so I thought, why not? Besides, I don't think I've ever seen any IDs with a character playing the piano. At least, not any that I know of. The piano is sort of a tribute to the upright I started out playing when I was little. It's been a while since I last played. I'm not exactly sure what the glowing orb over her head is supposed to be. Maybe some sort of will-o-the-wisp? Or maybe a spirit orb? This pic looks rather rough in terms of lineart, but all things considered, I think it came out nicely for a first try at chibification. ^^
Constructive criticism is greatly appreciated. Please review!
The background is just a wee bit distracting, but otherwise, great job.

Thank you. ^^ I got this background pattern from an art program called Gimp. (I don't have Photoshop at the moment. >.< The blue squares background seemed to be the one that fit best.

I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
