Hi everyone! ^^

Kisa here. I went to the Japanese Yuki-Matsuri (Snow Festival) in Odori. I had a lot of fun looking at all the different ice carvings and snow sculptures. They even made a snowboarding ramp! The food there was yummy too. I got a chocolate banana with sprinkles at one booth. I also tried something called imo mochi. It's basically mochi mixed with potato (hence the imo), and it tasted like a combo of mochi and mashed potatoes. It was really good. ^^

I took a lot of pictures. They had statues of the Nippon Ham Fighters (a baseball team) mascot, Totoro, and even Stitch! There were even buildings made of ice and snow! Those were pretty cool. I saw some pictures of what the ice carvings looked like at night, and it turns out that they light the displays up with colored lights. It looked amazing. I'll post up the photos in my gallery later.

I've just posted them a few hours or so ago. Hope you enjoy! ^^
We're getting lots of snow over here. The backyard is piled high with it. I checked out one side of the roof, and there were icicles longer than I was tall! O.o
Missing you too...
